Seriously, you are a much stronger person than I if you can successfully reason with that voice.
It’s a constant battle, I think. It’s helping me to envision it as something external instead of my own thoughts.
I agree with Megan. Stupid head-monster is a powerful force. If you can talk back to him, you’re very strong! I had to fight my stupid head-monster at the doctor today. I lost all my baby weight in, like, no time, but I got mad at the scale today ’cause I didn’t weigh LESS. DUDE. Why can’t we celebrate our triumphs?
I have the same conversation with my monster every single week…
