Part 2 of a whole BUNCHA.
We live pretty close to Kuma’s. It’s usually far too busy for us to just go and hang out, so we make it there maybe once every two months. It’s always an event. Every time, I will read each burger description carefully, thinking “someday I will have tried all of these,” and every damn time I end up ordering the Lair of the Minotaur.
And I never, ever regret it.
Oh wait, back in December I got their monthly special, I believe it was called the Eye Hate God. It had blue-cheese stuffed, bacon wrapped dates on top of it. I still salivate just thinking about it.
A few quick notes:
1) I will be signing copies of the Complete Ouija Interviews at C2E2 this weekend, Saturday from 4pm-6pm at the Chicago Comics booth. Come point and laugh at me!
2) The meat CSA we belong to is open to new members! Do you want a bag of tasty, locally farmed, responsibly raised and cared for meats? You will not find a tastier lamb-burger than Mint Creek Farms.

OMG I’M STARVING!
I’m usually a Mastadon kinda girl, but the Lair of the Minotaur looks amazing.
In a pinch I have been known to get the Judas Priest, which is sort of a poor man’s Lair of the Minotaur. :D
Have you seen this? “Fairly terrifying” is an accurate assessment. (But I primarily sent it so you could see how much cuter your drawings are than the schlumpy ones in the NYT!)

Wow, oh man 4600 calories on Thursday! I bike 15 miles a day and I try to keep under 1800… But he’s a guy, they can eat more. And he does run a lot, but isn’t it amazing how few calories are burned by even vigorous exercise?
I have only had the Eye Hate God burger at Kuma’s. It looks like I better get back there before we leave for the Lair of the Minotaur, sounds delish! And thanks for the CSA shout out- you are the BEST!!!
