I can’t tell you how much I love that so many restaurants are putting all their nutritional info online. It makes lunch decisions so much clearer, but it can be a real pain to dig through all those pages of numbers. I have been known to fill a notebook page with numbers to compare.
You shouldn’t have to do math in order to do lunch. But you’d be surprised how many 900 calorie “salads” there are out there, even at what you’d think are pretty reputable places.

I’m jealous that you even have access to Jimmy Johns. The closest ones in DC are in the outskirts and not really Metro accessible, though we have Potbelly every 5 ft. At Potbelly, I find it best to get:
Turkey on wheat, no cheese / mayo. Everything else is pretty light / okay on calories. I get a pickle with it, then eat half the sandwich and half the pickle. Pickles are FILLING and awesome.
