So this comic probably belongs to yesterday. Or possibly to tomorrow, if what the weather says is true. Either way, I missed out on the one week of biking dry streets because I was sick, and I got to bike one whole day before it started snowing again. I’m used to biking 70-100 miles a week, and losing that is really starting to get to me. I’m used to getting the exercise, I’m used to the endorphins, and I can feel it emotionally and physically when I don’t get it.

I need to get off my ass and go buy a dancey video game already. I have to accept that I’m not going to be able to bike for a while, and find a different way to get that exercise. It’s not easy, because I’m a creature of routine in a lot of ways. I can be that active because it’s just how I get to work and back every day, it’s not something I have to plan. But more than anything, I think my mood is suffering from the lack of activity, so it’s time to step it up.

In other news, I really love that tomato/red pepper soup. Aldi doesn’t sell it anymore, I don’t think, but Niles found something comparable – if not EXACTLY the same product in different packaging – at his Whole Foods, on special for $2. Hooray!

All right. It was an absurdly long and annoying day at work today, so I’m going to leave you there, and snuggle with my boyfriend, and fall asleep. Big plans!
