There wasn’t enough room, but there are some very specific steps in there. Such as: realize halfway through that you don’t have nearly enough butter, and supplement it with Neufchatel because it’s too freakin’ hot outside to walk to the store. And: take it out probably 10 minutes early because you really really really want to eat it now. OH! I cooked the fruit with about 1/4 cup of white wine, too. And a little bit of ginger, but not enough to taste, boo. Anyway, it turned out awesome, magically; usually things that I improvise don’t turn out quite so awesome.
Feeling pretty great about what I ate today, actually. Tasty salad with pita for lunch, tasty salad with grilled steak for dinner. I got to bike today too, for the first time in about a week. It’s just been too hot lately! I think I’ve skipped my bike commute because of weather more often this summer than I did last winter. Anyway, things are looking up. Evil Project is over, (for real this time) biking to work has returned, everything’s coming up Sarah.
