Holy crap, I managed to upload the weekend’s comic on Sunday night, like a grownup. :D

A few things to note! So much good beer this weekend. My brother, who’s responsible for most of the homebrews I drink, moved EVEN CLOSER to me than he already was. He’s seriously three doors down now, you can see my window from his back porch. So I’m a little worried about easy access to unlimited beer supplies. Point in my favor, he likes brewing very low alcohol beers. “The kind you can drink all day,” he will tell you.

Another thing to note! I made a berry crisp today, out of rhubarb, ginger, cranberries, raspberries, and blueberries, with a Neufchatel streusel topping, and it is pretty freaking amazing, if I do say so myself. Especially since I just glanced at a few recipes and then made it up as I went along. You can’t really taste the ginger, I don’t think I used enough, but other than that it’s pretty close to perfect. I do love a good crisp in the summertime.

One more point, in the interest of full disclosure: The beer I am drinking tonight is LARGE and also awesome. New Holland “Beerhive.” It’s a tripel, it’s honey and ginger and other wondrous things, and it says 1 pint 8 oz, so I really shouldn’t be drinking the whole thing. To be fair I’ve been nursing it for just about all afternoon/evening at this point, so it’s not like I’m getting tanked on a Sunday night. I would have been happy with a normal sized bottle of it, but I guess it only comes in this 20 oz size, and it’s not exactly reclosable. I kind of hate that I’m drinking all 20 ounces for no other reason than “the bottle isn’t reclosable.” I should really reconsider that logic, huh.
